H&M Urban Infill Storefront Study, Savannah, Georgia
Category: SCAD Collaborative Design Studio
The project had initialized with the different series of abstract assignments understanding the Historical Urban Landscape (HUL) and Cultural Landscape (CL) Contextual to Urban Infill across the Historic Broughton Street in Savannah. The challenge was to re-interpret the adjoining context and precedents into modem interpretation of contextual infill.
The search for this newness with respect to our culturally rich heritage from the perspective of the urban world drives us to the H&M Retail Shopfront Competition sponsored by Ben Carter and Hansen Architects, Savannah. The design proposal is among the selected project for the Competition.
